French Tutor

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate French Tutor to join our growing team at Siloam Expressions, a leading language and literacy center. This role is ideal for someone who is fluent in both French and English, and experienced in teaching French to non-native speakers online in engaging, learner-centered ways.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach French to children, youth, and/or adults in an interactive and structured online setting.
• Use communicative and action-based approaches aligned with CEFR levels (A1 to C2).
• Prepare lesson plans, activities, and assessments based on Siloam Expressions’ curriculum.
• Support learners in achieving their personal and academic goals, including TEF/TCF preparation if applicable.
• Track and report student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and culturally inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications
• Full fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
• Prior experience teaching French online using Zoom or similar platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CEFR levels and/or TEF, TCF, or DELF exams is an asset.
• Passion for languages, education, and student success.

Nice to Have
• Experience working with diverse, plurilingual learners.
• Knowledge of digital tools and interactive language teaching strategies.
• Availability to teach across different time zones.
